Asylum Seeker

Hello Dear!
I am an Asylum Seeker my self living in Glasgow for more than 6 years with my wife and two children aged 8 and 9. I would like to thank you for what you are doing here. I came across your weblog, while searching for the latest news on "Legacy Cases". Reading this part of the story: "Sam - Yes I’m still an asylum seeker. In XXXXXX it will be seven years that we’ve been here so we will apply for residency." a question crossed my mind if the above statement is true? We are also looking forward for the seven year period, but i searched and asked many people if that is the case with asylum seekers who lived in UK for seven years, and i cant seem to find a firm answer. Could you please shed some light.
Thank you again and God bless you! It is the presence of kind and understaning people like you that we overcome the fear and uncertainty.
Sorry for the lengthy comment/question.

Brodie

Dear Asylum Seeker - that short answer to your question is I don't know if this seven year thing is true or not. I'm just "reposting" what Sam said. You're best to check legal details out with an agency that has some expertise in the legal side of things.
